The four fixes above are what the engagement is for. This is what is in it.
01
Google Business Profile optimisation
The profile is rebuilt rather than tidied: the primary and secondary categories, the services list, the service areas you actually cover, real photographs, accurate hours, and regular posts so the profile reads as an active business. Categories do most of the ranking work and are the thing most often left on whatever was picked at sign-up.
02
Reviews: asking and responding
A repeatable way to ask, at the point in the job where a customer is actually pleased, and replies to reviews already sitting there unanswered. Recency counts for more than a lifetime total, which is why a profile with forty old reviews can lose to one with eight recent ones. The reasoning is in review recency, citations and local authority.
03
Citations and consistent business details
Your name, address and phone number as they appear on Yelp, Bing Places, Apple Maps, Yellow Pages and the BBB, audited against what Google holds and corrected where they disagree. Old phone numbers and a previous address are the usual finds. These are the records Google checks your profile against, and they are also what AI assistants read.
04
Local landing pages
A listing sends people to a page, and that page has to carry the service, the area and an obvious next step. Where a business genuinely serves several markets we build a page per market that earns its own local visibility without splitting the brand into separate sites, which is the architecture behind the SuperNova build across seven BC markets.
05
Local pack tracking by location
Map results change with where the searcher is standing, so one position checked once from one place says almost nothing. We measure across a grid of points over your service area, which is what shows a business ranking third downtown and nowhere ten kilometres east. Tracking is by query and by location, and it is the same view you get in reporting.
06
Structured data
The machine-readable version of the business on your own site: what it is, where it operates, what it offers and how that matches the profile. It is written against what the pages actually say and then validated, because markup describing something the page does not contain does more harm than good.
07
Suspension and reinstatement help
Profiles get suspended for a keyword-stuffed business name, an address that does not match how the business really operates, or a duplicate listing nobody remembers creating. We work through the appeal with the evidence Google asks for. We have been through this on our own profile and wrote down exactly how it went, including what we could not claim: suspension and reinstatement.
